Cookie problem with Safari 3.0.x temporary solution

Apparently the problem is not just happening to me. It looks like it may be a WebKit bug, but thus far there has been no solution. Time Machine to the rescue; navigating to /Users/name/Library/Cookies/ and launching Time Machine will allow you to replace your current Cookies.plist file with one from the past, which has your cookies saved within it!
