Coda 1.5 includes Clip management Link

I was excited to receive an early version of Coda 1.5 from Cabel a few weeks ago and was even happier to learn that this version now includes some fantastic Clip management tools such as grouping, importing and exporting.
The Panic developers even allowed for clips to be imported via a URL, thus allowing Andy and myself to easily allow clips to be installed directly from Coda Clips. All of the existing clip entries in the database can be installed with a single-click! If you have any clips you use a lot and don’t see them already listed be sure to fire them our way for inclusion on the site.

These new features are great, I’ve already sorted out my clips and added some custom books. I’ll see what I can contribute to Coda Clips :)
I gave Coda another try yesterday morning after reading about the 1.5 update. The SVN inclusion is nice, although you can’t export – or at least I couldn’t figure out how to. But my biggest problem is with the text editor and formatting of inserted clips. No matter how far indented your starting point is, from the second line on, it all goes back to the left margin. So you manually have to re-indent your snippet every time. Kind of kills any time saves by using a snippet in the first place. TextMate got this right, and I’ve become so used to it being inserted properly, that I couldn’t possibly take a step back in that regard.
But great to see an overhaul to the clips management, regardless.
