Along with 10 other web designers we had to design (in only a few short hours) the CV of fictional character Mister Stevenson. There has since been a fair bit of discussion regarding the format of CVs and whether a designed CV is helpful in conveying your details or a hindrance to those trying to read it. I purposely didn’t over design my entry as I hoped it would serve as a realistic example and something someone could possibly use.

Love your submission, Sam. You’ve struck a perfect balance with something that’s highly-designed without being so over the top that I’d be afraid to turn it in to a potential employer. Really great work.
I love how clean it looks while still being a bit messy. Very attractive layout and the colors divides the content with excellence. Great job!
Brilliant as always, I recon yours is probably the best out of the submissions.
