Co-founder of Iterate, & former VP of Design at Foursquare.

I’ve been immersed in the world of mobile and web product design since the early 2000s. Recently, I co-founded Iterate, a feedback product for creators. Before that, I held key design positions at Foursquare in NYC, culminating in the role of VP of Design.

My journey into web design began when my dad shared the HTML 4.0 spec from his job at British Telecom around 1998. This pivotal moment sparked my passion for hand-crafting websites using the power of handwritten HTML and CSS.

I studied at Cherrybrook Technology High School and continued my eduction at Computer Graphics College (CGC), an SAE Institute, in Sydney, Australia. It was here where I delved into the art of digital design and, importantly, honed my skills in coding, mastering the craft of building with front-end web languages.

In 2010, I joined Foursquare’s web team and later transitioned to mobile products. I had the opportunity to lead the design efforts for Foursquare City Guide and Swarm apps before taking on the role of managing the entire design organization at Foursquare.

Before my time at Foursquare, I worked for a boutique design agency and ran my own design studio, helping small and medium-sized businesses with their products and websites. I’ve also co-founded several ventures, including Eat.ly (which was later acquired by Foodspotting) and Endorse. I stay sharp and expand my skill set by working on a variety of under-the-radar side projects.
